Rotating
heat treatment furnace

Features
Uniform heat treatment of workpiece with rotating muffle
Operating temperature: 850℃
Even with a high-performance industrial furnace, it is only possible to make the most of its features if it is a good fit for your production site. We can propose waste-free heat treatment systems that match your processes.
Our PYROMAX SUPER is used in the glass melting process.

We produce a two-layered soot preform corresponding to the core and cladding of an optical fiber. This soot preform is created by depositing glass fine particles.
The generated soot preform is heated in the sintering furnace to transform porous structures into dense glass structures. In this process, heating at a high temperature of approximately 1,400 to 1,600°C causes the glass fine particles to fuse together, forming a transparent glass preform.
This process involves stretching a sintered glass preform to match the diameter of the optical fiber. By heating and pulling the preform during this step, thin optical fibers capable of transmitting light are produced.
Our PYROMAX SUPER is used in the sintering process.

NPR-RIKEN HEAT TECHNO also provides PYROMAX and PYROMAX SUPER heaters for diffusion furnaces in semiconductor-manufacturing equipment.
